Everything you need to know before exploring Dubrovnik with us - from meeting points and entrance tickets to weather, walking difficulty, and private tour options.

All tours start at Ploče Gate, the eastern entrance to Dubrovnik Old Town, next to Revelin Fortress and Bistro Revelin.

Your guide will be waiting with a sign clearly showing the tour name.

If you’re arriving from Gruž Port, Lapad, or the main bus station, take local bus line 1A or 1B and get off at Pile Gate (final stop).

From Pile Gate:

  • Enter the Old City through Pile Gate
  • Walk straight along Stradun, the main street (about 8–10 minutes)
  • Exit the Old City at Ploče Gate
  • The meeting point is immediately outside the gate, next to Revelin Fortress

The walk is flat, easy, and takes about 8-10 minutes.

Entrance tickets are not included, unless stated otherwise.

Fort Lovrijenac (€15) is required for the Game of Thrones and the Old City Grand Tour.

Entry is free with a valid City Walls ticket or Dubrovnik Pass.

City Walls Private Tour requires a separate City Walls ticket or a Dubrovnik Pass.

This keeps tour prices fair for guests who already have passes.

Yes, if you plan to visit the City Walls, Fort Lovrijenac, museums, or use public transport.

The Dubrovnik Pass often saves money and simplifies entry, especially during high season.

City Walls Tour is the most physically demanding due to many steep staircases.

No transportation is included.

Dubrovnik Old Town is pedestrian-only and easily accessible by taxi or local buses.

Yes. Public restrooms are available near Old Town entrances and at selected points along the route. Your guide will point them out.

Tours are primarily conducted in English.

Other languages may be available for private tours upon request.

During peak season (May – October), booking a few days in advance is highly recommended, especially for private tours.
